Lumbar Disc Degeneration/RadiculitisCase History : Patient complains of low back pain that radiates burning pain into the front of the left leg with numbness. She was involved in a motorcycle accident 30 years ago where she landed directly on her buttocks. Prior Treatment : Physical Therapy Diagnosis : Degeneration of Lumbar spine Short Term Outcome : 0/10 pain low back Course of care : 26 sessions Lumbar Axial Decompressoin with DRX 9000 and associated therapy Presenting Complaints : Constant 7/10 aching low back pain with burning pain radiating down the front of the left leg with accompanying numbness.
There was not a morning without back pain. I had Degenerative Disc Disease at L5-S1 with leg pain and numbness due to nerve involvement. I was unable to walk any kind of distance. The mall, market or a walk in the park wasn't in my daily plan. I tried physical therapy and pain medication.. I told my doctor that I had had it and something had to be done and surgery was not a option. After treating with the DRX, I now can get up in the morning without thinking about how to get out of bed. I went to Morro Bay and walked on the beach for hours. You are the GREATEST, everyone treats you like family. I will miss you!
